PT Barata Indonesia received a visit from the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the Directorate General of America and Europe, Wednesday, April 10 2019. The group led by Silvy Gayatri as Secretary of the Directorate General of America and Europe, visited Barata Indonesia to know the ins and outs of Barata Indonesia’s competence , especially in terms of products exported by the company.
In his speech, Ratu claimed to be proud of the work that had been made by the company. According to him, Barata Indonesia as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) has carried out its role in contributing to foreign exchange.
“Therefore, we from the government will be ready to help Barata Indonesia, to meet new potential markets,” he said. “But we need valid data to report so that we can process it,” he added.
In his explanation, Barata Indonesia’s Marketing Director, Tony Budi Santosa said that Barata Indonesia in the past five years had routinely exported products abroad. In addition, the company also experienced an increasing trend not only in terms of export value, but also exported products.
“We routinely carry out bogie exports (Components of the Railway, Red). Some time ago we also carried out the initial export of the cement industry component to Morocco,” he said.
Therefore, he hopes that there will be support from the government for domestic companies that contribute to the country’s foreign exchange. This support can be done in various ways. Starting from policies, bringing together new market potentials, to alleviate the tax burden.
After conducting discussions, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the American and European Directorate General, visited the Barata Indonesia workshops.
