The Foundry Division of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) has once again retained its international standard certification from the Association of American Railroads (AAR) for bogies used in railway components.

The AAR certification renewal is valid until 2027, allowing Barata Indonesia to continue exporting railway components to the North American market.

This certification is crucial for the continued export of Barata Indonesia’s products. With the AAR certification, Barata Indonesia has permission to export railway components to the North American market. The certificate is valid until December 2027.

The successful renewal of the AAR certification further solidifies Barata Indonesia’s commitment to maintaining the quality of its foundry products. This is evidenced by Barata Indonesia’s consistent success in renewing and passing certification audits since 2010.

Furthermore, Barata Indonesia remains the only company in Southeast Asia to hold an AAR certificate.
