As one of the largest foundry companies in Indonesia, PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) has high-tech facilities capable of producing heavy industrial components, including global-quality export products.

Recently, Barata Indonesia poured 20 tons of casting material in its furnace facility at its workshop in Gresik, East Java. This 20-ton pouring process was executed after Barata obtained a permit and certification from Lloyd’s Register, making Barata Indonesia the only company in Southeast Asia to successfully issue this certification. This pouring process is the largest volume ever carried out by Barata Indonesia.

The process was carried out to fulfill an order for a ship component, a V-Bracket, for PT PAL Indonesia’s frigates.

On Wednesday (April 16), the Indonesian Ministry of Defense’s Frigate Task Force and the Production Director of PT PAL Indonesia inspected a V-Bracket product being manufactured by Barata Indonesia.

PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) has the largest foundry facility in Indonesia with a capacity of 15,000 tons per year.

This capacity can produce a variety of products, including railway components, ships, cement manufacturing equipment, and sugar production equipment.
