PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) successfully completed the production of Fregat warship components by supporting PT Pal Indonesia. These components include V-Bracket, I-Bracket and Stern Tube.

This success has become an important achievement for Barata Indonesia as a SOE manufacturing that has a large role in supporting the national defense industry, especially in providing ships with international standards.

The completion process of V-Bracket components has also been through assessments from PT PAL Indonesia’s technical team. During the visit, the team reviewed Barata Indonesia’s production facilities, including machining and quality control systems, to ensure quality standards and precision are met.

The results of assessment also showed that Barata Indonesia’s facilities and products were able to answer the needs of the warship construction. From the quality side, this work is under the close supervision of Llyod’s Register, an international organization of service providers and ship certification, maritime structure and system. Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero), Hertyoso Nursasongko, said that this success proves the competence of the domestic manufacturing industry.

“Barata Indonesia’s involvement in providing V-Bracket components shows our capacity to meet strict technical specifications. This also confirms that the national industry is reliable in strengthening the independence of allutsista.” The success of V-Bracket completion while strengthening the synergy between Barata Indonesia, PT PAL Indonesia in the strategic project of maritime defense.

This achievement is expected to not only support the sustainability of the construction of warships, but also increase the competitiveness of the national manufacturing industry at the global level.
