PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) welcomed students from the Chemistry Study Program at Surabaya State University (UNESA) on June 16th. The industrial visit was part of the company’s experiential learning method.
While discussions with Barata Indonesia employees are always held, this visit focused on exploring the company’s state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.

The group was welcomed by Sari Sutjahjani (Corporate Secretary) of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) and the Barata Indonesia Management team.

Barata Indonesia’s Corporate Secretary, Sari Sutjahjani, welcomed the visit. She stated that industrial progress depends not only on technology but also, more importantly, on the quality of human resources.

After the discussion, the students were invited to tour Barata Indonesia’s laboratory.

The students were given an explanation of the laboratory’s equipment and functions for testing foundry products, in line with their knowledge in Chemical Engineering. This laboratory plays a central and critical role as a quality guard and data center that ensures the final product meets the required specifications, performance, reliability and standards.
