Management of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) re-executes Walkthrough Management (MWT) activities as a real form of commitment to the application of superior working culture, improvement of operational quality, and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards (K3).

This activity is led directly by Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero), Hertyoso Nursasongko, accompanied by Commissioner of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) and management ranks from various divisions, and is held in the workshop area of Gresik. Through this agenda, management directly observes the implementation of work processes, working environment conditions, and dialogue with employees in the field.

The main focus of walkthrough this time includes: Application of standard K3 and appropriate APD use, Application of 5R (Concise, Neat, Resiccile, Care, Diligent), Compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), Work process efficiency and continuous improvement opportunities. “This walkthrough management activity is not just a ceremonial agenda, but is part of a sustainable commitment to building a safe, disciplined and productive work culture.

We want to hear directly from our colleagues on the pitch, see real challenges, while appreciating their performance,” said Hertyoso Nursasongko. Management also notes several areas for improvement that will be followed up by the relevant units. On the other hand, there is also an appreciation of employee initiatives and innovations that have supported work efficiency and safety.
