PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) officially opened the Barata Safety Training Center, as part of the Barata Training Center as the first Occupational Safety and Health (K3) training facility in the company environment that carries realistic simulation methods.

This inauguration is an important milestone in the company’s commitment to creating a high standard, safe, healthy and secure work culture across the operational line. The presence of Safety Training Center is a real form of strategic steps of the company to suppress the number of work accidents. It is expected through this facility that all Barata Indonesia people have adequate readiness, awareness and skills in dealing with potential risks at work.

The Barata Safety Training Center is designed as an integrated K3 learning center, combining theory training with field practice through simulation of real working conditions. With this approach, participants not only understand the principles of safety concepts, but are also trained to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.

Some of the benefits expected from this facility include: increased employee understanding of industry standard K3s, strengthening sensitivity to potential hazards, and the habit of implementing safety protocols in daily work activities.
