PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) received a visit from the Production Director of PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) on Thursday (April 10th). PAL Indonesia’s Production Director, Diana Rossa, and her entourage observed the progress of the V-Bracket, I-Bracket, and steel tube components for PAL Indonesia’s Frigate 1 and Frigate 2 vessels, which are being manufactured by Barata Indonesia.

The strategic collaboration between the two companies in the defense sector, particularly in the supply of ship components, demonstrates the commitment of both state-owned manufacturing companies to mutually strengthen and support the independence of the defense industry while simultaneously stimulating the domestic manufacturing industry.

The synergy between the two companies not only strengthens the national defense industry supply chain but also represents a crucial step in reducing dependence on imports and increasing the competitiveness of domestic manufacturing.

For Barata Indonesia, the collaboration with PT PAL Indonesia is part of its strategy to expand its role in the defense industry and support Indonesia’s defense equipment independence program.
