The PT Barata Indonesia Workers Union (SPBI) held its 11th General Meeting (Mubes) over two days, April 25-26, 2025, at the multipurpose building of the PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Head Office in Gresik. Representatives of Barata Indonesia management also attended the event.

At the 2025 SPBI General Meeting, the SPBI Barata Indonesia management presented an Accountability Report for the 2023-2025 SPBI Management, discussed the Articles of Association (AD) and Bylaws (ART), discussed the criteria and Rules of Procedure for the Election of the SPBI Chairman, and discussed the main agenda, namely the Election and Inauguration of the SPBI Chairman for the 2025-2027 period.

The 11th SPBI General Meeting unanimously appointed Hendrik Wilis as the SPBI Chairman for the 2025-2027 period. Previously, he served as Chairman since 2024, succeeding Moddy Santoso.

The management of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero), represented by the Head of the Human Resources & General Affairs Division, Bustomek, stated that SPBI is a partner and ally that plays a vital role in advancing Barata Indonesia.

The synergy between the two parties, both SPBI management and management, is expected to increase productivity, thereby achieving the company’s stated targets and ensuring employee welfare.

Furthermore, management also hopes that the newly appointed SP administrators will serve as representatives and role models for other employees, spreading the spirit of performance improvement in each division based on AKHLAK.
