State Minister for State Owned Enterprises (SOEs)as the solely shareholder owner made addition to the Board of Directors of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero).

In the event attended by Deputy of Business Infrastructure of the Ministry of SOEs, Hambra, Bobby Sumardiat Atmosudirjo who previously served as Director of Industrial Products Business Appointed as the Director of Operations PT Barata Indonesia (Persero).

While Tony Budi Santosa who previously served as Director of Operations and Marketing became Director of Marketing PT Barata Indonesia (Persero).

In this occasion Hambra, Deputy of Business Infrastructure of the Ministry of SOEs, Hambra expects the directors of Barata, which currently four people, become a solid team and provide positive energy to make Barata Indonesia even better.

” We congratulate Mr. Bobby who was appointed as a new member of the Board of Directors of Barata Indonesia, hopefully the cooperation and good relationships that have been established so far can be maintained and build faster development of Barata Indonesia ,” said Hambra.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Silmy Karim said that the additional members of Barata Board of Directors is to meet the needs of the company in accordance with the dynamics and business demands of the company today.

“We are grateful to the Minister of SOEs who have completed the composition of the Board of Directors of Barata, because this is our requirement in accordance with our contract achievement in 2017 which is  3.2 Trillion Rupiah (up to 443.1% compared to the acquisition of contract in 2016 which amounted to 722M). This increase requires special attention in order to achieve ahead and on time schedule project, good quality and effective cost. I hope this full board of directors can work at full speed, especially in accelerating the commercial side and services to customers, “Silmy said.

Before serving as PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Director of Operation, Bobby Sumardiat Atmosudirjo has long been in the industry of Indonesia . Graduated from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), he achieve several positions such as Head of Health, Safety, and Environment of PT Petrosea, Maintenance Manager of PT Petrokimia Interindo, Deputy General Manager of PT Petrosea and then joined PT Pindad (Persero) in 2014 served as Director of Industrial Products Business.
