Oksarlidady Arifin is officially appointed as the new President Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero). The former Director of PT Wijaya Industrial & Construction Works (WIKA IKON) was appointed as the new President Director of Barata Indonesia after submitting a copy of the Decree of the State Owned Enterepise Minister Number: SK 305 / MBU / 12/2018. Harry Sampoerno at the Ministry of BUMN Office, Jakarta on Wednesday (12/19/2018).

Oksarlidady Arifin replaced the position of Silmy Karim, which had been entrusted to become the President Director of Krakatau Steel in August. Oksarlidady Arifin said he had known Barata Indonesia for a long time, so he was no stranger to the company that headquartered in Gresik.

“I will try to push Barata Indonesia’s performance as much as possible,” he said after being officially appointed. “Hopefully the Barata Indonesia team will be more solid both between Commissioners, Directors and Employees to bring Barata Indonesia to be better in the future,” he added.

Oksarlidady Arifin began his career at PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk as a Technical Staff at the Steel Fabrication Factory. After that, the man who born in Medan on October 23, 1965 held various positions including, Water Installation Project Manager in South Sumatra, Project Manager of Pertamina UP III Plaju WTP – South Sumatra, HSM Project Manager PT Krakatau Steel – Cilegon, Project Manager for Siemens Factory Construction in Cilegon , Project Manager Jembatan Jababeka in Cikarang, Marketing Manager of PT Wijaya Karya Intrade and Construction Division Manager at PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi and Director of PT Wijaya Karya Industri & Konstruksi (WIKA IKON).
