PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) sign MOU with (Memorandum of Understanding) with PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Holding to supply and maintenance of production facilities and utilization of scrap waste at the factory owned by PTPN III Holding and its subsidiaries. This MoU is a form of strategic synergy between the two companies in optimizing their resources.

The signing of a MoU was made between the President Director of PTPN III (holding) Dolly P. Pulungan with President Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Silmy Karim witnessed by Deputy of Agro and Pharmaceutical Business Mr. Wahyu Kuncoro at the office of the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, (9/5).

President Director of PTPN III (Persero) Holding Dolly P. Pulungan said, PTPN III Holding welcomes and appreciates the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding as it aims to optimize the resources owned by each company.

“This synergy, can provide benefits for both parties, especially in the procurement and maintenance of factory equipment and the utilization of scrap waste all subsidiaries of PTPN III Holding,” said Dolly told reporters in a statement to the signing of MoU PTPN III Holding-Barata Indonesia in Jakarta .

Further, President Director of Barata Indonesia Silmy Karim added, “This cooperation will enhance the role of national industry in our own country. This synergy also as an act to strenghten local content, as directed by President of Indonesia Joko Widodo on Local Industry Role in Economic Development of Indonesia, “he said.

President Director of PTPN III (Persero) expects this synergy will occur cost-efficiency procurement and maintenance tools for agro-industry plant owned by Holding Perkebunan Nusantara and its subsidiaries. In addition, scrap waste materials can be managed optimally by PT Barata Indonesia so as to increase corporate earnings.
