Entering the end of 2023, PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) ensures that the B100 Reactor will soon be handed over and ready for production. This was marked by the success of a series of full capacity trials of six B100 reactors some time ago.
When met on this occasion, the President Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Tjetjep Nirwan Mustofa said that this collaboration was the company’s effort to industrialize an innovation to support the government’s program to meet domestic alternative energy needs that are environmentally friendly.
“B100 is Indonesia’s future energy. “This is a great opportunity for Barata as a manufacturing BUMN to create added value through palm oil downstreaming with final products that can strengthen national energy security,” he said.
The full load capacity testing of 6 (six) B100 reactors was also attended by a number of key executives including Minamas Plantation CEO Adi Wira Abd Razak, B100 reactor inventors, and a number of technical personnel from the Industrial Plant Standardization and Refreshment Agency (BSIP).
On this occasion, the CEO of Minarmas expressed his satisfaction with the results of the construction of six B100 reactors with an impressive capacity of 3,000 liters per six hours. He also appreciates and is optimistic that the results of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) product development can strengthen Indonesia’s position in the development of renewable energy.
“We are very pleased to see the success of this trial and witness significant progress in the development of the B100 reactor. “This is a concrete step in realizing Indonesia’s vision as a leader in the field of renewable energy,” said Adi Wira.
The Biodiesel 100 Reactor is a tool used to convert CPO (Crude Palm Oil) into environmentally friendly fuel based on vegetable oils or animal fats through an esterification or transesterification process.
With this process, the Biodiesel or alternative fuel produced will be more environmentally friendly because it produces 48% lower emissions compared to fossil fuels.
PT Barata Indonesia (Persero)’s commitment to presenting products that are environmentally friendly, competitive and have beneficial value for society is a form of the company’s readiness as a Manufacturing Industry BUMN to take a leading role in developing renewable energy in the country.
